This is an upgrade module for EFR Instructors. This additional First Aid at Work Module will allow you to train and assess the HSE First Aid at Work and HSE First Aid at Work refresher courses. This module takes a day to complete.

You will gain valuable experience in teaching skills and assessment methods to use during your First Aid at Work courses. Becoming an EFR First Aid at Work Instructor will enable you to offer the complete range of first aid training from basic appointed persons first aid courses through to HSE First Aid at Work and the use of AED's and basic constant flow oxygen delivery equipment. New regulations from october 09.

Prerequisites

Current HSE First Aid at Work Certificate
EFR Instructor (including the Care for Children Module)

Crossover & update programs
Instructors from other training organisations who want to cross over to become an EFR Instructor

Is this course for you

This HSE First Aid at Work instructor course is not a suitable option for everyone.
To run the HSE First Aid at Work course requires approval from the HSE and this granted to businesses, not individual people. In this case the approval is granted to EFR and they then approve instructional facilities to carry out first aid at work training.
